In all, nearly 900 commuters participated in the Commute Survivor All Stars-The Final Alliance promotion. Some of these commuters were already ridesharing and others gave it a try for the first time. We're certain that we "converted" a large number of solo-commuters to ridesharing. In fact, we placed 30 former drive alones on Metrolink trains and 5 former drive alones on OCTA busses. Not to mention all the commuters who used the carpool matchlists they received to find a new or additional carpool partner.
